There shall be only one login page and from there on the profile of the person shall be tracked. I have used flat-files before , a database like MySQL shall prove more efficient and effective . Every user shall have his own small profile and a set of people following his photo album(s) . If a user declares an album(s) as public no login is required . But if its declared private it's only seen by his/her friends. If its only self only he/she can have a look. Friend requests shall be similar to any social networking site.
If a person has a multiple friends he shall have a single main login after that he can view all his friends just like say any social networking site.A person can request as a friend . I am not so aware as to how to import say the entire addressbook in yahoomail or gmail as some of the websites offer for example Facebook . A simple invite can be integrated as well. The option shall be provided to organise present albums, add new album, transfer picture between albums .A simple and easy transfer if possible in frames to just drag and drop.uploading of the pictures shall be initially the conventional format directly into the database as managing would be very easy. The database will have the list of users and their right(s) over albums(if any) which will also indicate if they are owner or as a friend.If nothing is mentioned it means it is open for public. The interface is a tentative version though , if i can find something more flexible and eye-catchy .The main reason why i wanted to use ImageFlow component was because it uses javascript which reduces the load on server and page need not be refreshed everytime to see the next pic. This would be an interesting interface why a user would prefer to Apache PhotArk . Please comment .
