Adding MS SQL 2000 support to the next release would be very important from my point of view to be able to use the new XML functionality in this server. Currently adding "FOR XML AUTO" to my SQL query throws an error message. I could add this here but it is in german ;-))) It is talking about that unicode data can not be send to clients that use a db-library earlier than 3.7 ... Connecting to it without the "FOR XML AUTO" addition works though.
