Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP. Unfortunately your version of PHP is too old -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new PHP version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-06-25 09:10:57] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I've used the windows installer to install PHP version 4.0.6 onto my windows professional development machine. When I try to run a simple PHP text like: <% echo("This is a php test."); %> I get the error: php.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x100321e3" referenced memory at "0x00080bdc". The memory could not be "read". I've seen a couple of references to this in the bug reports, but no solutions have been given. It's like the php interpreter is failing in memory. Any help? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=11661&edit=1
