Description:
------------
i'm trying to install php with apache2 (httpd 2.2.4) to run a boinc
server but get the following error after the following php reccommended
configures:
(php) ./configure --enable-so
(apache2) ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
--with-mysql
(apache2 run error)
linux:/usr/local/apache2/bin # ./apachectl -k start
httpd: Syntax error on line 53 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server:
/usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp5.so: undefined symbol: _efree

i think there was a "make test" error with php5 which was reported
under my same sourceforge email. is php4.4.7 better for me to use?
should i abandon my php5 (somehow de-install php5 and install php4)?
please let me know your reccommendations and overview of procedure.
