Bug description: implicit sprintf round uses banker's algorithm.
Description:

When rounding (implicitly) with sprintf, halfway values are rounded using
a "banker's" algorithm instead of performing the way a call to round()
would.
This seems inconsistent and counterintuitive for no particular reason.
