From: christopher dot graham at digforfire dot co dot uk Operating system: Windows Server 2003 PHP version: 5.2.4 PHP Bug Type: IIS related Bug description: upload_tmp_dir wrong with authentication on
Description: ------------ If we turn off 'Anonymous Access' for a domain on IIS (so we have to log in via HTTP-auth), we find that file uploads are saved under a path other than what upload_tmp_dir specifies. This is likely somehow related to how the CGI process will be executed under a different username to usual. phpinfo returns the correct upload_tmp_dir even though the tmp files are not actually put there; I tested this on the same page request as seeing the tmp path as being incorrect. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=42825&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=42825&r=mysqlcfg
