The windows installer failed to install error code 2878 Manually installed on windows, worked fine. Tried installing on linux, installed ok but apache wouldn't start afterwards. The windows indication isn't very promising because it works on windows with php5.2.4 anyway. Tested on PHP 5.2.1 it works as expected on 5.2.2 and above it doesn't. I checked the change log and nothing is mentioned about this.
