We are sorry, but can not support PHP 3 related problems anymore.
Momentum is gathering for PHP 5, and we think supporting PHP 3 will
lead to a waste of resources which we want to put into getting PHP 5
ready. Ofcourse PHP 4 will will continue to be supported for the
forseeable future.

When attempting to compile for static Apache use, the following
problems occur:

It smells like the configuration doesn't properly set the "#define
HAVE_GD_COLORRESOLVE 1" or something similar if you have libgd
installed (I have gd 1.7).
Is this a known gotcha? Do I have to upgrade to gd 1.8 to fix it?
