Bug description: date() function 'o'
Description:

Using "zend.ze1_compatibility_mode = On" does not remove the 'o' function
in date() (released with PHP 5.1).
This is for a large program not written by a company which is no more - I
don't particularly want to excape each instance of 'of' in their code.
Reproduce code:

echo date("l jS of F Y g:i:s A",$now);
Expected result:
