I've been getting this bug on the 5.2.5 installer, as well as bug 43394. Every time I go in to change the extensions in the installer it resets the path in IIS, using the DOS path which I can reset, allowing php to at least work. But I can't get the mysqli and mysql to load, even modifying php.ini to allow mysqli and mysql and setting the extensions path. Also the path for php is correctly set in the environment. Below is part of the debug log from the installer. Can't paste in the whole thing. It appears that they are installed in the first 2, the last item says it isn't. I have to say, that I have installed php with apache and MySQL a couple of times before and it wasn't new for me, but... This time php doesn't work with any extention. Only one thing let my installation to work. I have added path to my php installation folder to system variable 'Path'.
