Thank you for this bug report. To properly diagnose the problem, we need a short but complete example script to be able to reproduce this bug ourselves. A proper reproducing script starts with <?php and ends with ?>, is max. 10-20 lines long and does not require any external resources such as databases, etc. If the script requires a database to demonstrate the issue, please make sure it creates all necessary tables, stored procedures etc. Please avoid embedding huge scripts into the report. Hmm, I guess something bad forced the php runtime into crash. Can you try your script with the CGI version of PHP? There is some difference of 10 or 20 characters. - If I remove some blocks of code, it can works, but a replacement with a line such as "echo 'OK';" crash the script again. I need to convert some huge website from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8. I am using the mbstring overload to avoid rewriting the entire PHP code. But I have a problem on some PHP script (my entire forum) when I add the "2: Overload str*() functions". In this case, the script is stopped before his end without any Php or Apache error. The page is not blank, but stop before the end of the script. I have used Xdebug to try to see something, but it doesn't help me.
