Reproduce code:
---------------
<?

$test = "19 Dec 2008 23:30:12";

for ($i = 0; $i < 1000000; $i++) strtotime($test);

?>

Actual result:
--------------
with 5.2.8 php uses more than 1 gb of memory at the end of script
execution.
