From: supratiksekhar at gmail dot com Operating system: Windows PHP version: 5.2.8 PHP Bug Type: *Calendar problems Bug description: date("W") returning wrong week number
Description: ------------ I am using php-5.2.6 currently, while writing a function to get week number using date("W") I found that the value it is returning is wrong. I searched for the solution and found that this is a bug [Bug #33957] in PHP which is already being solved. But when I try for the year 2008 it returns the wrong value. I tried with the latest version of PHP but the problem is still there. Thanks Supratik Reproduce code: --------------- $datestr = "2008-12-29 00:00:00"; $da = new DateTime($datestr); $t = $da->format("U"); echo "Week number: " . date("W", $t); Expected result: ---------------- Week number: 53 Actual result: -------------- Week number: 01 -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=46970&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=trysnapshot53 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=fixedcvs Fixed in CVS and need be documented: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=needdocs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=php4 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=46970&r=mysqlcfg
