I can't reproduce the problem. Note that the initial php-5.2.9-2 bundle didn't have php_oci8.dll. This was readded on April 9th. I enshured, that the oci-Modul in the php.ini file was loaded successfully. Note: All other oci-Functions to do database-operartions are working well!
