We can't fix it as the GMP library is not available for this configuration and the latest GMP version has possible licensing issues. The VC9 binaries use MPIR which is 100% compatible with GMP, maintained and faster. I have apps that require GMP but the Apache on the machines using them are the Apache.org provided version. I also don't see a VC6 build for 5.3.1 either so I can't check to see if it will show there.
