If the libc is strict with what the ISO standard defines you cannot use c99 headers in non c99 code. So we have to either add c99/_STD_C99 globally or get rid of the c99 code. You can compile it with gcc and SUN libc and you will get the same error. GNU libc seems not to make this difference, which is why it works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2009-12-17 05:37:33] alexander at skwar dot name Nö, it is not a Sun Studio Compiler issue - if you compile using gcc 3.4.3 from /usr/sfw/bin, you will run into the same problems.
