From: Operating system: CentOS 5.5 PHP version: 5.3.2 Package: FPM related Bug Type: Bug Bug description:Incorrect php.ini file detection
Description: ------------ If there is a file or directory named php.ini in the current directory and you start php-fpm from within this directory, phpinfo() output shows, that php-fpm is trying to use this file/directory as main configuration file for all it's children. The case with such php.ini being a file seems to be undocumented and unwanted behavior because by default [prefix]/lib/php.ini should be used. The case with php.ini being a directory leads to all php settings to be silently reverted to their defaults. No error message is shown about that php.ini is not a file or does not exist or whatever. Test script: --------------- cd ~ mkdir php.ini php-fpm After that open a page, containing phpinfo(); line and check php.ini settings section. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52045&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=trysnapshot52 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=trysnapshot53 Try a snapshot (trunk): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=fixed Fixed in SVN and need be documented: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=needdocs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=php4 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=52045&r=mysqlcfg
