Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions. Due to the volume
of reports we can not explain in detail here why your report is not
a bug. The support channels will be able to provide an explanation
for you.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

It overflows the range of integers on your system. Seeing as you're
using 5.3, you can use the DateTime class instead.

Description:
------------
Hai,

While i excuting the below script i got unexpected result.

<?php

print date("d-m-Y", mktime(0, 0, 0, 7, 1, 2038));

?>

i got the output is 01-01-1970.

i know the problem in php core.

php date funnction changelog:

The valid range of a timestamp is typically from Fri, 13 Dec 1901
20:45:54 GMT to Tue, 19 Jan 2038 03:14:07 GMT. (These are the dates that
correspond to the minimum and maximum values for a 32-bit signed
integer). However, before PHP 5.1.0 this range was limited from
01-01-1970 to 19-01-2038 on some systems (e.g. Windows).

how we resolve this problem.
