Typically javascript encoded strings will be in UTF-8. My server for example uses ISO-8859-1 for everything. I'm willing to try to develop a patch for this (never done it before). It would be nice if somebody pointed out what internal functions should i use to get this working. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52478&edit=1
