Well folks,. I need to have the override per domain. I have many functions disabled for security reasons, so for all my shared hosting domains, I don't want give access to those functions. But,. as root, I think I'm entitled for some previleges, and I don't see a reason why not allow me to override them. If I can do override to safe_mode in the httpd.conf, why not allow me to do override to disable_functions? and be specific on which disable_function I want to re-enable. I Don't see this coming as a multiple domains option. Chances are that this is for one or two domains at most! I would urge creating a phpdomainfunctionallow.ini file that will hold the list of domains that will have an override of this option. For a single or even two or three domains, I don't think there is a need to run a full set of instances for apache and php.
