ID: 54548 Comment by: alex dot schuch at gmx dot de Reported by: giorgio dot liscio at email dot it Summary: needed a way to define multiple error handlers Status: Open Type: Feature/Change Request Package: Scripting Engine problem Operating System: all PHP Version: 5.3.6 Block user comment: N Private report: N New Comment: I have encountered the very same problem. set_error_handler() returns the previously installed error handler, so maybe it can be called using call_user_func() somehow. The example (PHP manual) of set_error_handler() actually stores the previously installed error handler but does not use it.
