Norton firewall driver update nisdrv is corupt, check to see if your CMOS values register properly. I solved my problem by changing my CMOS back to it's default, the NISDRV disabled my C: drive. It's simple to do. Just hold down Alt& Del or just the Del key during reboot and take a good look around. All is well so far with my system, but I plan to scan my registry if the problem resurfice and delete any mention of this driver. But,I assume Norton is scramblig to make a patch for this problem. Therefore, I will wait to see what Norton plan to do about this mess. Hey,if this helps you please pass the world. Carlton L.
