I still can not find it in the date() function manual. What's happen, is it
included or not?

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better.

Fixed for PHP 5.1.

It is good enough, but not for this case. It's not a problem to write a
conversion function, I can do (and I already did)it myself. But, for example,
if I need to store different time formats choosed by users, the formats with
Arabic months' numbers I can store just a parametter for those functions, but
for Roman monnt's numbers I need an additional conversion function. I think, it
is better to integrate such possibility in "date", "strftime" and similar
functions. It is the sense of these functions to have an ability to output the
date in any popular format, and the months output with Roman numbers is popular
enough to be included.
