To properly diagnose the problem, we need a short but complete example script to be able to reproduce this bug ourselves. A proper reproducing script starts with <?php and ends with ?>, is max. 10-20 lines long and does not require any external resources such as databases, etc. If the script requires a database to demonstrate the issue, please make sure it creates all necessary tables, stored procedures etc. Please avoid embedding huge scripts into the report. You should attach short and complete reproducible script. Script name and/or line are not available sometimes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2013-09-29 14:15:14] spam2 at rhsoft dot net Description: ------------ what about log the *filename* which does not exist or at least the SERVER_NAME in which context the error happens or shut up with meaningless messages at all? the whole php error-handling is full of such crap messages there must not be "unknown in unknown" - what terrible language design [29-Sep-2013 15:37:37 Europe/Vienna] PHP Warning: Unknown: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 Test script: --------------- i don't know because these unhelpful error messages Expected result: ---------------- giving informations or shutdown the error-message at all Actual result: -------------- unhelpful crap messages ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=65786&edit=1
