Obscure syntax has never been well-embraced by php.
besides, in this example you can just
?>This make it really really "easy" to output HTML <?php

it would be nice to do something like this;
echo(qq~This make it real "easy" to output HTML~);
vs
echo("This makes it a real \"pain\" to output HTML");
This is a feature in Perl where it could be qq! ! or any other symbol
after the qq is used as a delimeter.
