Is mod_ssl compiled as static module into Apache or is it DSO? If the problem is corrected in the cvs-snaptsnot, how long till you release a new version ? since i can't run a cvs code on production server. (check the bug database for reports about open_basedir problems and that openssl 0.9.7 problem.
