I am not sure this is legal but I solved this by modifying the Makefile in CURL's lib folder AFTER running your configure. add -L/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/3.2 to LDFLAGS and add -lgcc to LIBS make make install then proceed with normal php installation. it will work. good luck. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-03-05 17:38:20] driskel at bitstream dot net thanks for your comments on --enable-libgcc unfortunately that did not correct the issue for me using src= php4-STABLE-200302282030. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-03-03 20:23:39] [EMAIL PROTECTED] --enable-libgcc propably fixes this.
