FYI: Latest stable Apache is 1.3.27, whatever the Apache people might
say. (when used with PHP)

Allright I decided to go back to 1.3.27 after all, sorry :P
It works perfectly fine, although I cannot get PHP 5 to work whatever I
do, but that's another problem ;)

I like to use the newest stable versions of every product I use, to get
to know them better :)
I'm not planning on trying Apache 1.3.27 at the moment, sorry. It's not
a production server anyway, but I just thought that I would bring this
problem to your attention...

Using Apache2 is futile anyway, why don't you try Apache 1.3.27
instead?

Yes, disable all of those extensions.
