 Operating System: Windows NT 4.0
 PHP Version: 4.0.0 Release
 New Comment:

I just installed php4.3.2 on a windows2000 server and I am having the
similar problem.
"HTTP 401.3 access denied by ACL on resource IIS". But changing the
extension to anything other than php it works fine. I don't think it
has anything to do with server configuration.

please help.

Have you tried a more recent release of PHP? If so, does the problem
still occur? Also, note that the ISAPI version is not as stable as the
CGI version...

WIN NT 4.0
OPTION PACK 4.0 with IIS 4.0
Webserver with PHP4 Isapi module installed
virtual directory with ACLS restriction (anonymous access disabled) can
not be accessed anymore with the proper username and password. I always
get "401.1 Unauthorized: Logon Failed".

No probs the the cgi-version though.
No probs without ACLS access restrictions.

how come? will this be fixed in the near future or do I have to stick
to the cgi version?
