The images are created with the img tag <img src=...> and not in real-time. Nearly the same php.ini works with 4.3.2 without delay. I suspect something inside php_gd2.dll or session management. The error is reproducible with 4.3.3 and also with the latest cvs bundle from yesterday 8.30 pm. The cpu goes to 100% and after a while the images are displayed. The stall period is variable. With php 4.3.2 it seems to work as expected.
