Thank you for this bug report. To properly diagnose the problem, we need a backtrace to see what is happening behind the scenes. To find out how to generate a backtrace, please read http://bugs.php.net/bugs-generating-backtrace.php Once you have generated a backtrace, please submit it to this bug report and change the status back to "Open". Thank you for helping us make PHP better. We have a nice "quick fix" for this, but Ilia didn't use it... so here it is :-) Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-03-24 07:31:33] mark at lapcrew dot com Can you point me in the right direction on how to generate the a backtrace, an example or a howto site. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-03-15 16:46:07] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please generate a backtrace of the crash. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-03-15 16:06:57] mark at lapcrew dot com Description: ------------ When both php-odbc & php-pgsql are installed an attempt to read data thru the pg_lo_read_all() function causes a segmentation fault. Removing the php-odbc module eliminated the problem. The following setup is being used Linux 2.6.1 Apache 2.0.48 PHP 4.3.4 PostgreSQL 7.4.1 Reproduce code: --------------- Load both the php-odbc & php-pgsql module and attempt to read large object data from a PostgreSQL database using pg_lo_read_all(). Run from the command line to see the segmentation fault error, or look in the apache error log ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=27610&edit=1
