the crash is fixed in cvs a few days ago.
to run php 4 with website pro you *will* have to set the doc_root in
your php.ini

After upgrading PHP to 4.0.2 and WebSite to 2.5, I find that the
problem still occurs. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke on the
particular system, I tried installing the PHP 4.02 and Website 2.5
combination on another server, and got the same results. Still no
problems on IIS systems with the same level of service packs and
hotfixes.
Interestingly, WebSite 2.5 is now willing to call PHP as an ISAPI app,
but there are problems with the header (such as not sending a blank
line between the header and body of the response), although I suspect
this is just due to mismatched ISAPI versions between the server and
application, since WebSite 2.3.x wouldn't call it at all, citing
version incompatibilities, and one of the changes with WS 2.4 was
relaxing the version requirements on ISAPI apps.

Yes, it still happens with 4.0.1pl2. That's what I said in the initial
bug report.

Please verify that its still happening using the latest version of PHP
(release 4.0.1pl2 or CVS).
