        }

                echo __CLASS__."::".__FUNCTION__."<br>";
                return $this;
        }
 }

 class secondClass extends firstClass{
        function __construct(){
                echo __CLASS__."::".__FUNCTION__."<br>"; 
                parent::$this->__construct(); //<-here Apache eat all memory
                //parent::$this->test(); // this works          
        }
 }
 
$e= new secondClass;
