I just thought a solution direct from the PHP dev's would be a safe and well recieved feature. (Especially one that compatible with PHP 5 :) Jan Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-09-18 10:46:44] [EMAIL PROTECTED] We can not endorse other products that might cause incompatibilities with other products. There are more Open Source accelerators than Turck MM Cache (such as APC which you can install through PEAR). It's not PHP's task to cache it internals, an external module for this does the job just fine in this case. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-09-18 10:41:11] chs at phucknut dot net edited for retarded typing ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-09-18 10:40:36] chs at phucknut dot net Description: ------------ MMCache is a great feature. and whilst typing this... I reaise that you've probably had this before :) But why not build it in as an option in later PHP releases. You would make a lot of server admins VERY happy. Since turck's mmcache is open source... should be an easy job :) Anyway, thanks for reading.
