Hello, Running: ----------------------------- Apache 2.0.52 mod_ssl 0.9.7d PHP 5.0.2 (WITH CVS version as of noon 10/24/2004) win2k server i've been fighting this issue for a few days now. Parent: child process exited with status 1 -- Restarting. so i updated from PHP 5.0.2 release to the CVS version after reading this post. It has stoped the issue thus far of having. "Page not found" (PNF) in IE and "No Data" in Foxfire and Opera However! It still has not stoped the server from periodicly restarting. About once every 5 min on low load and more often in high load times. My concern is that we will experiance more PNF errors and issues durring peak times. Can anyone verify this either true or false. and is this normal for apache2? I'm not completely familiar with it, we just recently upgraded from 1.3.x for other reasons. I have tried PHP 4.3.0, 1, 2 and 3 had the same issue as in PHP 5.0.0, 1 and 2. Thank You Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-10-22 17:02:31] sintemaa at hotmail dot com Any idea when 4.3.10 will be released. Currently I'm a bit caught in a split. I'm running 4.3.6 and I need to upgrade to a new version, but when I upgrade to 4.3.9 I get these problems... :( ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-10-21 21:44:52] [EMAIL PROTECTED] This bug has been fixed in CVS. Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. Thanks for testing it out. The fix has been included in the 4.3 branch now too so it should be included in the next 4.3.x and 5.0.x releases. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-10-21 20:53:51] aaron at gwmicro dot com Sorry about the double post in 30405. With the latest 5.1.X CVS build (Oct 21, 2004 18:30 GMT), this problem has been resolved for me. Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-10-21 16:35:24] joel at preacherboy dot net So what version of 5.x will have this fix? The latest public release is 5.0.2, which is affected by this problem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-10-21 11:31:50] [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you test the patch (it should apply to 4.3.x just the same) and tell me it works, yes! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
