Bug description:  phpBB : Fatale Fout/Fatal Error

Yesterday my host upgraded php to 4.3.10 and this morning i tried accesing
my phpbb based site and i got the message 

phpBB : Fatale Fout

Could not connect to the database

My phpbb version is 2.0.11 (phpbb2 version = 1.52) see www.phpbb2.de for
what phpbb2 is.

please help!!
