I don't have a php binary compiled with --debug. Here is the backtrace
with the binary I have:

Reproduce code:

ini_set('zend.ze1_compatibility_mode', true);
class test { }
$t = new test;
$t = $t; // gives segfault

Expected result:
----------------
last line gives segfault
