From: abertolli at innovim dot com Operating system: Linux 2 PHP version: 5.0.4 PHP Bug Type: *Programming Data Structures Bug description: Problems sending long objects via SOAP
Description: ------------ When connecting to SOAP services created by another language such as Java, PHP cannot handle Long objects. The problem is that PHP isn't able to cast to long, and therefore doesn't know how to match up the type in the WSDL. It ends up trying to send as an int which is rejected on the remote side. It is important to support long objects because they can be set to NULL unlike primitives. This is using the SOAP extension. Reproduce code: --------------- The WSDL would look something like this: <complexType name="AreaInfo"> <sequence> <element name="id" type="soap11-enc:long"/> </sequence> </complexType> Expected result: ---------------- To get a SOAP response Actual result: -------------- There is no SOAP response -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=33411&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=trysnapshot50 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.1): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=trysnapshot51 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=33411&r=mysqlcfg
