From: angelo dot courtel at cordonweb dot com Operating system: Linux FC4 PHP version: 5.0.5 PHP Bug Type: ODBC related Bug description: ODBCconnect & Segmentation fault
Description: ------------ Hi, I try to connect a Linux computer with an Informix database using an ODBC component. First I try, to test the ODBC connectivity with PHP, with a MySQL database. I've successfully installed unixODBC, I've been confgured it, and the ODBC driver for the MySQL databse works fine when I try to connect it in terminal mode with the isql command. But when I use the function ODBCconnect() in my PHP script, the connection failed. And if I execute the script in terminal the error is "Segmentation fault". I don't know why, the Apache server is normally configure to work with ODBC because the configure string contains : '--with-unixODBC=shared,/usr' But I think the PHP not communicate fine with ODBC. Actual result: -------------- Segmentation fault -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=34716&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=trysnapshot50 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.1): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=trysnapshot51 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=34716&r=mysqlcfg
