Tried to copy ext/imap from .0.5, too. Didn't work either. I was using: gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-11-25 14:37:37] rick at schippersnet dot nl I'm using gcc-3.3.5-3, the one that's included in debian sarge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-11-25 14:32:36] [EMAIL PROTECTED] So, the problem is not somewhere in ext/imap. Good to hear that. What compiler are you using? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-11-25 13:57:50] rick at schippersnet dot nl Just did a recompile like you said. It doesn't fix the problem. I still get: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server: /usr/lib/libc-client.so.2002edebian: undefined symbol: mm_dlog ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-11-25 13:42:11] [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you copy ext/imap folder from the older version over the new one and run ./buildconf --force && ./configure ... && make - does this fix the problem? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-11-25 13:39:05] jens dot jacobsen at web dot de I can confirm this for me. PHP 5.1 with IMAP compiled in causes apache to fail at start with the following message: Starting httpd2 (prefork) Syntax error on line 27 of /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/loadmodule.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/libphp5.so into server: /usr/lib/libc-client.so: undefined symbol: mm_dlog PHP 5.0.5 compiled with the same configure causes no fail on apache start. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
