From: paul dot zorn at gmail dot com Operating system: Fedora 3 PHP version: 5.1.1 PHP Bug Type: PDO related Bug description: SQLSTATE HY093 Error
Description: ------------ I was doing an update with the method: $dbh->query($update). I was getting the error. SQLSTATE[HY093]: Invalid parameter number: mixed name and positional parameters. The problem was that my value string inside the query had a single semi-colon. And was causing this error. If i made it a double semi-colon it worked right. Reproduce code: --------------- The main code was a update statement for mysql: UPDATE session SET user_id = '1', session = '$val' WHERE session_key = '$session_key' The $val == 'started|i:1;i;user_id....' Expected result: ---------------- I don't expect that the semi-colon inside the val code would through this error. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=35534&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.1): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=trysnapshot51 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35534&r=mysqlcfg
