It's available on the "snaps.php.net" only for PHP6, which is far from being an official release 'till now. The lack of this extensions is probably causing the pear extension "php_bcompiler" to trigger the following notice, everytime a PHP script is executed: "PHP Notice: Unknown: Unable to find the wrapper "compress.bzip2" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? in Unknown on line 0".
