The manual page for fgets states quite clearly that this argument
didn't become optional until PHP 4.2.0.

I have found in the manual that in file function like fgets()
second parameter is optional.But in last week  i got problem in this
function in the sites i developed.when i gave second parameter it
works
fine.so please let me know the change scome in the version
