Yes for sybase_query(), if i use sybase_pconnect it works fine. Simlarly for mssql_query(), if the i use mssql_pconnect, it works fine. The connection has established using mssql_pconnect(). But sybase_query() using that link id is not working in php 5.1.4 whereas it works in php 4.3.11. Same way the link id returned by sybase_pconnect() does not work for mssql_query(). but this works in php 4.3.11.
