Thanks for the tip about extensions... A similar bug report was made earlier this month by someone... and it was mistakenly classified as bogus. The person reporting the bug attributed it to a PECL module when in fact it is a general crash attributable to any php5apache2.dll or php5apache2_2.dll process (operational under an apache2 Windows environment).
