GetImageSize doesn't accept an url as an image. Only a relative path.
Reproduce code:

$picinfo_ar = getImageSize("http://www.mydomain.tld/images/somepic.jpg";);
print_r($picinfo_ar);
Expected result:
----------------
an array with picture information.
Actual result:
--------------
If used in a webpage, it stops loading on that point, even with error
reporting turned on.
