Just my ideas for the equivalent of <>.
I noticed that it did not have for operator <> with the type comparison.
File: ZendEngine2/zend_language_scanner.l
- <ST_IN_SCRIPTING>"!==" {
+ <ST_IN_SCRIPTING>"!=="|"<>=" {
return T_IS_NOT_IDENTICAL;
}
Actual result:

!= and <>
!== don't have equivalent with "<>"
