Insanlarin her zaman çesitli saldiri ve tacizlerle karsilasmalari
mümkündür. Bu gibi durumlarda savunma teknikleri pratik zeka ile
birlestirilir. Tabi böyle bir durumla karsilasildiginda rakibimizin ruh
halini ve davranislarini da göz önünde bulundurmak gerekir. Mücadele
sporlarindan ( Karate, Taekwondo, judo, aikido, Kick boks vb) Gerek
duyulan tekniklerin kullanilarak saldiri ve tacizlerin pratik zeka ve
savunma teknikleri ile önleme sanatina Yakin Savunma Sanati (Close
Defence Art) denir.
Yakin savunma sanatinin amaci
Ülkemizde kisa bir dönemdir yapilamaya baslanan yakin koruma ve
güvenlik mesleklerinde savunma adeta bir ihtiyaç olmustur. Bu
meslekleri yapan (Polis; Asker, zabita; güvenlik görevlisi) kisiler her
zaman çesitli saldirilara ve tacizlere maruz kalmislardir. Iste burada
yakin savunma sanatinin önemi ortaya çikiyor. Bu meslekleri yapanlar ve
tacizle karsi, karsi ya kalan kisiler saldiri ve tacizleri bertaraf
edebilmek için çesitli mücadele sporlarindan (( Karate, Taekwondo,
judo, aikido, Kick boks vb) derlenmis savunma tekniklerini gelistirmek
ve ögretmek.
Yakin savunma sanatinin gelismesi için yurt içinde ve yurt disindaki
kisi ve kuruluslarla isbirligi yapmak ve bilgi alis verisinde bulunmak.
Yakin savunma sanatini ögretmek ve yaymak için yurt içinde ve yurt
disinda kurslar açmak. Konularinda uzman ögretmenler temin etmek ve
yeni ögretmenler yetistirmek. Yurt disinda ve yurt içinde seminerler,
paneller düzenlemek. Kurslarda ve seminerlerde basarili olan kisilere
katilim belgesi ve sertifika vermek.
Bu sanati dünya çapinda yaymak amaci ile Dergi, Gazete, CD, DVD,
Video kasetler hazirlamak ve internet siteleri kurmak.

This is still a problem on php-4.3.5
As mloftis, I had to change main/php_config.h, setting these:
#define HAVE_SABLOT_SET_ENCODING
#define HAVE_SABLOT_GET_OPTIONS

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
