" ./configure --with-mnogosearch" works fine but " ./configure --with-mnogosearch --with-apxs2=/usr/sbin/apxs2-prefork" will produce /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.0.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: /usr/local/mnogosearch/lib/libmnogosearch.a(indexer.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC /usr/local/mnogosearch/lib/libmnogosearch.a(indexer.o): could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1 The mnogosearch version is mnogosearch-3.2.39.
