From: leereynolds at cox dot net Operating system: Windows server 2003 PHP version: 5.2.0 PHP Bug Type: Unknown/Other Function Bug description: Curl install doesn't include OpenSSL requirements
Description: ------------ Installed Curl as part of the standard windows PHP 5.2.0 on a Apache/2.2.3 (Win32) PHP/5.2.0 package. After restarting the server, I determined that curl wasn't being shown as a loaded module in phpinfo(). With some research, it appears that libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll are required dependencies of Curl, but they're not being made available with the Curl install, nor are they identified as any of the extensions that are available seperately from Curl. Reproduce code: --------------- <?php $c = curl_init(); ?> Expected result: ---------------- no errors Actual result: -------------- undefined function at line 2 curl_init(); -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=40409&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40409&r=mysqlcfg
